Vamanjoorians celebrate memorable monthi fest

Dubai, Sep 27: Friday September 23 was a memorable day for the Vamanjoorians of the city. The parishioners gathered for traditional 'Novem Jhevan' at the Bangalore Empire in Karama, here. Fr J B Sequiera and Fr Dilraj Sequiera graced the occasion and led the community in prayer. Children offered flowers to Mother Mary and nearly 150 parishioners gathered to celebrate the event.













The cultural side Of the event included the following: 

Dance by the Feet Beat dance troupe which was choreographed by Arun of FeetBeat Art Centre.

Comedy skit by Lancy Noronha and Josly Pinto.

Some amazing numbers sung by Joseph Mathias, Lancy Noronha, Avith Lobo, Kiran Rodrigues, Robin John Paul Sequeira, Bevita Pereira to name a few

Joston’s Magic With the keyboard.

DJ and his team entertained the gathering with some great numbers.

President Johnson Monteiro rendered the vote of thanks while the cultural programme was ably compered by Ancilla.

The programme ended with a sumptuous buffet lunch of traditional 'Novem Jhevan' followed by housie-housie conducted by Alwyn Pinto.
