Kundapur: Series of thefts continue as thieves target co-operative bank

Kundapur, Sep 28: Thieves dug a hole on the right side of the wall of Yadtare Primary Co-operative Rural Agricultural Development Bank, Byndoor on the night of Tuesday September 27 and attempted to steal gold and cash, but were unsuccessful in their mission.

The incident came to light on Wednesday morning. The group of thieves had entered the bank without breaking its shutters. They tried to damage the CCTV and took away the DVR of the CCTV camera.

Forensic experts and Byndoor police arrived for investigation. A police case has been registered at Byndoor police station.

Thefts at Kundapur have been on the rise. None of the thefts here have been fully solved. Thieves had entered a house near Basrur Moorukai during daylight last week and conducted a robbery. Thefts have been reported at the historic Asodu Nandikeshwara temple last Sunday. Thieves had also entered a mobile shop the same day.

Incidents of thefts have increased here during the last two years. A series of thefts have occurred at temples but nobody has been arrested. People are anxious that despite CC cameras, sirens and other precautionary measures, thefts are still continuing to occur.

    Thieves are on the search of a better earning.Banks are ideal ,better than houses and safer.Banks too are not bothered to make safety of their goods.Build a heavy wall where treasure is there.see around if any leak places of other buildings.and install a Alarm which connects to Police when someone enters or try to do harm.Install not only one camera but all sides.One can be fake so that thieves destroy,other one will film if from a unvisible Corner.This is certainly done from one who knew the bank from inside.It must be guard to every bank at night ,the one who not sleeps,but watch .Take notice of every small unusual noice and inform someone.Only so ´can be thefts in and around Banks or any other Money lending houses etc can be avoided.

    kundapur was peaceful place Now everything bad happening. I feel there are criminal elements growing here. Police and security agencies must srush these goons who have no respect for law and order.
