Daijiworld Media Network – Belagavi (EP)

Belagavi, Sep 29: In a strange incident, relatives of a boy from Khanapur, kept his dead body covered in salt in front of postmortem centre of Taluk health office for revival, for an hour, following the advice of a sorcerer. The boy had died from being bitten by a poisonous snake in their house compound on Wednesday, September 28.

The deceased youth, Rudrappa Yallappa Pejoli (24) from Avarolligrama, was bitten by a snake and had died by the time he reached the doctor. His relatives who could not believe it, consulted a sorcerer at Beedi grama. The sorcerer assured them, the youth will be relieved of poison if he is covered in salt for an hour and will come out alive.

The relatives brought out the dead body kept for postmortem and got it covered in about 50 kg salt in the presence of police and waited for an hour. However, the boy did not come back to life.

    @ Rudolf

The disciples were amazed when they saw this and asked, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”

    21. Then Jesus told them, “I tell you the truth, if you have faith and don’t doubt, you can do things like this and much more. You can even say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and it will happen. 22. You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”

@Rudolf R.Mumbai,I fully agree with you.Only to mention sometimes some very sick Person too have a wish and hope it might function to visit some doctor or a Ayurvedic Person, and you cant deny him /her and say no you are going to die tomorrow.I too ahd a Family member who was at the last end,but wanted a particular doctor to visit. So what is left?I called that doctor in pre and explained Situation and we took him.He was satisfied and came back with some medicine .Unfortunately fateful after some days was his end.But we were satisfied his last wish to fulfill. This case of dead Body in salt lake to Keep is unbelievable. There are People even in this Age ,not yet educated enough.Sad .Salt might take up poison but dead Person ,how can he be again breath ?Heartfelt sympathy to the Family ,may his Soul rest in peace.
