Daijiworld Media Network – Madikeri (RJP)

Madikeri , Sep 29: Suicide case of DySP M K Ganapathi has taken a new twist with his son Nehal Ganapati accepting the ‘B’ report submitted by Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

But the father Kushalappa, mother Ponnamma, brother Machiah and sister Sabitha of M K Ganapathi have said that they will fight the case in the court. The court proceeding has been now scheduled to October 24.

CID had submitted the ‘B’ report on September 17. Civil judge (junior division) of JMFC court here who heard the case on September 19 had postponed it to Thursday, September 29. Nehal who came to the court today said through his lawyer Prasanna Kumar that he has accepted the report submitted by CID and hence does not want to continue the case.

But other members of Ganapathi family not agreeing with Nehal told the court that they would continue the case. This point was brought to court’s notice by their lawyer Sumanth Palaksha. Hence the proceeding was postponed to October 24.

Speaking to media later, Nehal said that his education is more important to him and as such, he cannot spend time for court hearings. Advocate Prasanna Kumar also said that stance of Nehal was conveyed to the honourable court.

DySP Ganapati’s father Kushalappa said that the family is ready even to go to Supreme Court as CID did not do a proper investigation. He said there was no mention of Ganapati’s mobile, laptop, ATM Cards etc in the report which showed that there were lapses.

Machiah, bother of late DySP said that Nehal had not consulted them regarding his decision to withdraw from the case.

Wise son. He must have the video of his father's brutality along with saffron goondas on innocent Priests and Nuns. Very wise decision. You can not fight God's judgement in any court. Coward misused his power under BJP and when they disowned him, he cowardly killed himself. No tears on the death of Sanghi agent in Khaki. "you reap what you sow".

Here I find something is not correct or going out of lines.Since Ganapathis rest Family members are trying to fight further, son has accepted court Report, doesnt want to fight more.Sure it costs some Money.Did someone force him not to fight and offered some Money?well it is his decision ,wants to study further instead of wasting time. But a son wants to Keep his fathers Name and his dignity even it is not correct.why so easily accepted all of sudden is my thought.

sri, Very true! Similarly, Yeddy's wife drowning in a two feet water filled tank is not a small issue!, Padmavathi committing suicide and that too when there were two kids is not a small issue!, DySp Kallappa committing suicide is also not a small issue!. Dont you think these cases also must be investigated properly and need of the hour to dispel all doubts from peoples minds!!!????

Yes you are right! During church attacks, DySp Ganapathi played a major role in lathi charging innocent Christians protecting churches but also beat priests and nuns!. He was fully supporting these goonda saffron outfits!. That time many people had told that God only will take care of these people and indeed God has taken care!. I have no sympathy for Ganapathi but only to his family.

If HC give same verdict then HC is wrong, and if SC gave the same verdict SC also wrong. Then there is only one place to contest and one judge that is Heaven and God.

Reality is he committed Suicide and he did it for his own weakness. God must forgive his all sins and that what I ask God too.
