Sullia: Conversion controversy- Youth tells police, they were rumours

Daijiworld Media Network – Sullia (RJP)

Sullia , Oct 1: A person, who was said to be converted into other religion, has told the police that nothing such has happened in his life as rumoured.

Satish Acharya from Mandekol near here went to Sullia police station on Friday, September 30 and informed them in writing that he is still a Hindu and he was not converted into any religion as alleged by people.

It was also alleged that Satish Acharya was involved in anti social activities. “I was not involved myself in any anti social activities as alleged, I will never indulge myself in such things. “ Satish Acharya said in his letter.

Some Hindu organisations had held a protest recently alleging religious conversions of some young men in the area. Two instances of Satish Acharya and Deekshith Gowda were highlighted.

Both of them have denied such charges.

Every party employs strategies that it thinks will get the votes.

Congress did it in different ways : loan mela , appeasement, distribution of cash and liquor.
BJP is doing so via creating controversies and whipping up fears in the rural majority community.

@Indian Dubai,it is not only in gulf countrys but happens in Germany of late.People came as refugee from some Country dont want to go back and want to get coverted as christen. If they go back as christen they will be murdered, and govt.doesnt send them back in These countrys. One of the cathoilc priest refuged to convert them because of it.Only if they wish with full desire to live is ok.But some other Religion converted them and baptised many of them.Whether they remain in heart and head real catholics is not known.I doubt if a good muslim ever convert to other Religion.

Students must refrain from such misguiding rumors and focus on their career oriented goals. I would suggest these saffron leaders instead of misguiding and spoiling the future of your own community youth, help them to build their future. If at all you need to involve them in such protests, kindly make use of your own children instead of using the innocent and poor children luring them with money and using your cheap tactics. Remember, the flames of fire will be more aggressive and burn you forever if you believe in hell.
Mr. Kalladka, you are sowing the seeds of hatred among the youth. We Hindu, Muslim, Christians are living in Harmony like brothers. I have enough Friends & none forced me to change my religion or tried to brainwash me.
Change your thoughts and everything will change..

One never knows what is awaiting in the new adapted religion.
But since the person leaves his/her own religion, means he/she feels something is lacking in own religion.
Now it's the duty of the religion saviours to make good that 'something'.
