Muscat: Clarence Kaikamba is Daiz Konkani Writer of Year '07

Muscat, Dec 24:  Clarence Kaikamba has been selected as the 'Daiz Konkani Writer of the year 2007' informs a press release here from Muscat.
 
The award carries a cash prize of Rs. 10,000, a citation and a certificate, which will be given at a function to be held on the 25th January.


Clarence is the Daijiworld correspondent from Oman and is famous for his short stories in the Kkonkani literary circles.
 
His selection has been done by a panel of judges consisting of Dolphy Cascia, Gibba kulshekar Andrew L DCunha, Valley Quadras and Kevin DMello.
 
`Daiz' is a Konkani website being managed from Kuwait under the editorship of Valley Quadras.
