Fawad Khan blessed with second child

Lahore, Oct 5 (IANS): Pakistani star Fawad Khan has welcomed his second child -- a daughter -- with wife Sadaf Khan.

The baby was born on Tuesday, according to the actor's manager Hassan Khalid, The Express Tribune reported.

The couple, who got married in 2005, already have a son named Ayaan, who was born in 2010.

As per reports in Pakistan, Fawad had flown back to his hometown, Lahore, in Pakistan from India -- a few months ago -- to be with his wife.

Fawad has been in the news for being among the Pakistani artistes who have worked in India and have refrained from condemning the September 28 Uri terror attack, which killed 19 Indian soldiers.

The 34-year-old made his Bollywood debut with "Khoobsurat", but had already found a fan following in India with the telecast of his TV shows "Zindagi Gulzar Hai" and "Humsafar". His next Hindi film is Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", which could face problems with the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) due to Fawad's presence in the movie.

Last month, a body of Indian film producers passed a resolution banning Pakistanis from working in films being made in India. The move was announced by the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association in Mumbai.

In retaliation, Pakistani theatre chain owners banned the screening of Indian films.
