Mangaluru, Oct 7: “If we develop religious consciousness among us, we can get rid of mental depression and control temper,” said advocate Sridhar Shetty Pulincha. 

He was speaking after presiding over Navarathri festival celebrations held at Durga Parameshwari temple at Karmbettu, Jappinamogaru.

A religious programme was held as part of festival celebrations. Ganesh Shetty and Vanitha Ganesh Shetty Karmbettu inaugurated the hall programme.

John Suresh, J Surendra, Jayanth Gatti, Harish Shetty, Nagaraj, president of Durga Parameshwari temple and priest Umesh Poojary were present.
