AJ hospital holds seminar on ‘TB & challenges in its control’

Mangaluru, Oct 7: AJ Medical College, department of Community Medicine conducted a day long CME on ‘TB and challenges in its control’ on October 6 at college mini Auditorium.

Dr Balu PS, chairperson, task force RN TCP, Karnataka, Dr Anand R Pulmonologist, Associate Dean KMC Mangaluru, Dr Badarudeen M DTO, Dr Ashok HRCHO Health Directorate, DK District, Dr Prashant Bhat CMO, CHC Byndoor were the resource persons.

The crisp inaugural programme was presided by Dr Ashok Hegde. Dean, Dr Jayaram S Medical Superintendent AJ Hospital welcomed the delegates, Dr Maria of Community Medicine department gave the vote of thanks.

Dr Uday Kiran as the Karnataka Medical Council observer and senior faculty of Community Medicine participated in the daylong event.

Amongst the 12 postgraduates, Dr Gowthami from AJIMS bagged the first prize and the trophy to AJIMS Community Medicine department on the occasion, senior Community Medicine professor with more than 46 years of service to teaching and Community, Dr.R.P.Pai was felicitated by the IAPP forum.
