Beltangady, Oct 8: In an accident which occurred at Nidigal near Ujire in the taluk on the evening of Friday, October 7, a two-wheeler rider was killed. The other vehicle involved in the accident was a jeep.
Muhammed Cinan (19), son of Shariff, resident of Halepete Vivekanandanagara in Ujire was the victim of this accident. Cinan was going towards Nidigal from Ujire when this tragic accident happened. Cinan suffered critical injuries in the accident and succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.
The deceased was working for a vegetable shop at Ujire. Dharmasthala police reached the spot later and conducted an inspection. They also registered a case and took up the investigation.
