Udupi, Dec 26: A convention of Bunt women was held in the auditorium of Sri Laxmi Janardhan temple, located at Kaup, on Tuesday, December 25, organized at the aegis of Kaup Bunts Sangh.
Former Lions district governor Kripa Amar Alva was present on the occasion as chief guest.
K Vasudev Shetty, vice president of Kaup Bunts Sangh, presided over the programme.
Ratnakar Shetty, Shantaram Shetty, joint secretaries of Bunts Sangh and Sridhar Shenava honoured women achievers - Beena V Shetty, Sheela J Shetty, Keerti Shetty Kalattur and Vidya Shetty Uliyargoli.
