Bengaluru: Roshini Nilaya alumni hold reunion ‘Milana’

Bengaluru, Oct 10: Swinging back memories of Roshini Nilaya, the alumni celebrated their 17th Annual Day on September 24 at the Grand Magrath Hotel.

The reunion – ‘Milana 2016’, brought more than 400 HR professionals from across the world. The bonhomie and camaraderie was prevalent throughout the evening marked with friendship, fun and entertainment. Every attendee reconnected with the faculty, old friends. It was a mélange of memories as they shared their life experiences over dinner.

Milana 2016 was presided over by chief guest Gopal B Hosur, former Inspector General of Police (IGP). The speaker for the event was Renuka Aradhya, director of Pravasi Cabs who shared his life’s journey. Anand D Silva the president in his opening address spoke about the importance of this get together and laid out his plans for the future. He also mentioned about the upcoming family day in Bangalore and urged all the Roshniites to like the official FB page School of social work Roshini Nilaya alumni association Bangalore.

The evening was opened by the charming and charismatic Reena who kept the audience engaged. The high note of the event was performance by our very own “The Country Band”. The band members, Dolfred Dsouza (Rhythm Guitar and Lead Vocals), Clement Sequeira (Lead Guitar) Cletus Sequeira (Keyboards), Hidayat (Lead Vocals), Noel Dsouza (Drums) , Leon Patrao (Bass Guitar) all part of  the Alumni.

A dash of colour, exhilarating performances and amazing choreography marked the evening by Oxygen Dance Company a talented group with over 15 years of experience. They engaged the Alumni through a dance workshop and kept them grooving.

Heading the organizing committee was Anand James Dsilva (President) and Ganaraj Pavalkodi (Secretary) from the Roshni Nilaya alumni association
