Kuwait, Dec 28: Christmas is a time for parties and get-togethers and for numerous social events in Kuwait. The CRCC Annual Fiesta organized at Faker Eldeen Palace here had children enjoying themselves with the festivities, games and presents from Santa.  The programme was presided over by Bosco Leitao.

The fiesta was organized with all the festive décor and ambience to match with the joy and merriment of the Christmas Season.  A large crowd and scores of children attended the annual event sponsored by Kuwait Sports Center, Kwik Kopy Business Centre, Al Bahar Industries WLL, Jonica Marine Services, Yousuf A Alghanim & Sons WLL, Rimmel, Al-Shammary Hearing Centre Co (WIDEX), 5-a-Sec, Boushahri Group, Freight Systems Co Ltd, Al Rawda Toys, Light Food Company-Mickey Snax, Abdul Rahman Albisher & Zaid Alkazemi Co, Al Rashed International Shipping Co, Warba National Group, General Printers, Sheraton Hotel, Safir International Hotel, Marriott Courtyard, Goa Tillari Irrigation Development Corporation, Jamal Al Kazi General Trading Co, Hotel Crowne Plaza, Abdulaziz Al Ali Al Mutawa Group of Companies, and Rachael Mascarenhas (Goa Textiles). 

The winners of the games were awarded prizes and the participating children had a field day in the numerous chances they had to compete. Special thanks were voiced to the excellent coverage by Arab Times, Kuwait Times, Goa-world.com and some of the people involved including Peter Mendes, Victor Fernandes (Metro Express), Santana Rebello and Family, Antao and Family, Gaspar Almeida and Gulf-Goans e-Newsletter (since 1994) and Filipe Neri Rodrigues for the success of the CRC Fiesta.

Rodney and Fiona D'Mello were adjudged the CRCC winning couple of the year.  Kuwait's favourites "Stepping Stones" and "Deep Impact" bands kept the crowd on their feet with their chart busters. The arrival of the Santa together with the singing of the Christmas carols had the audience in raptures.
