Mangaluru, Oct 12: Catholic Sabha in Bejai arranged its annual blessing of vehicle programme on the evening of Saturday, October 8. Parishioners were gathered on the church ground with their vehicles. The Catholic Sabha members had engaged the congregation in a recital of hymns. The vicar of Bejai church, Fr Wilson Vitus D’Souza, and the assistant priest blessed the vehicles. The Catholic Sabha was wholeheartedly involved in prayer.
President of the Sabha, Richard Rasquinha, welcomed the gathering and gave a talk about road safety. Secretary, Shalet Pinto proposed the vote of thanks. The president distributed sweets to the gathering. Felcy Almeida hosted the program.
