Mangaluru: Theft attempt at Vijaya bank Baikampady, thieves go empty handed

Mangaluru, Oct 13: Some unidentified thieves entered Vijaya bank, Baikampady branch on one of the last five days by breaking the iron window from behind. They failed to break the strong room and hence went empty handed, it is gathered.

As the bank was closed for 5 days due to festive holidays, the theft attempt was only discovered on Thursday, October 13, when the bank employees entered the premises.

It is said that the thieves also broke the CCTV system.

Panambur police visited the spot with fingerprint experts and have registered case.
