Udupi, Oct 14: "Former chief minister, B S Yeddyurappa, has been making efforts to woo former rminister, Srinivas Prasad of the Congress, who has decided to resign from that party after having been disrespected by chief minister, Siddaramaiah," said former deputy chief minister of Karnataka, R Ashok. He was speaking to media persons after visiting Srikrishna Math here in the company of his wife on Thursday October 13.

Ashok was accompanied by Bengaluru south MLA, M Krishnappa. During the visit, he got the blessings of Paryaya Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejavar Math. He predicted an exodus of leaders into the BJP in the coming days, and elevation of Yeddyurappa to the post of the chief minister in 2018.

Ashok recalled that Srinivas Prasad was in the BJP in the past and exuded confidence of getting Prasad back into the fold of BJP soon. He also gave rise to curiosity among the media persons by asking them to wait and watch for three months to witness scores of leaders from JDS and Congress joining his party. "Sangolli Rayanna Brigade is a closed chapter now. All confusions about it will be cleared in about ten days," he added.

Former MLA, K Raghupathi Bhat, was present at the press conference.

Ashok also visited Goddess Durgaparameshwari temple at Kateel. He was honoured by hereditary trustee of the temple, Vasudeva Asranna. Temple priests, Anantapadmanabha Asranna, Harinarayanadasa Asranna, Kumar Asranna, Venkataramana Asranna, Raghupathi Bhat, Krishnappa, and several BJP leaders were present.

It seems BJP is making all out efforts wooing legislators from ruling and opposition party for another wave 'operation Kamala' after success in Arunachal Pradesh.

For BJP Udupi math seems to be center of politics rather than religious.

beeef janata party is a rudderless ship and they have no plan or clue on running a state.

If elected, they will be back to doing what they do best - Operation Kamala, Lie, porn, resort politics, corruption etc.

public should send back this party to Nagpur.

ashoka's visit to the temples of UDIPI and taking blessing of god and priest of the temple, and playing politics in same visit is surprising.now he says leaders of the JDS CONG. are joining to BJP. First of all let him RETAIN ESHWARAPPA in BJP and then dream of bring once jailed yeddy to the cm's chair.
