Mangaluru: Motor bike hits and kills pedestrian at Surlapady

Mangaluru, Oct 14: A pedestrian, who was hit by a motorbike at Suralpady in Kaikamba and badly injured, lost his life in a hospital here on Wednesday, October  12.

Achchabba (55) had got down from a bus at Suralpady. When he was crossing the road, a motorbike that was moving towards Ganjimath from the direction of Kaikamba rammed into him. Achchabba fell to the road, and suffered grave injuries. Bike rider, Sankayyappa Bhat,  was also injured in this accident.

The injured pedestrian was immediately admitted to a private hospital at Mangaluru. However, treatment failed to save him. A case of the accident stands registered in Bajpe police station.
