Udupi, Oct 14: In yet another development, slain Bhasker Shetty’s mother Gulabi Shetty lodged a complaint at Udupi police station stating that she has been receiving life threats from the accused.
Accused Renuka Shetty and Roopa D Shetty, sisters of Rajeshwari, wife of late Bhasker Shetty have allegedly threatened to kill Gulabi Shetty (75), mother of late Bhasker Shetty.
Gulabi Shetty in her complaint to Udupi police station stated that Bhasker Shetty when alive had asked Sandesh Shetty to manage the lodge.
Renuka Shetty and Roopa D Shetty who disputed the ownership of the building arrived at Hotel Durga International when Gulabi Shetty and her daughter Hemalatha was present on October 12 and threatened to kill them.
Sumathi Shetty, the third accused insulted hotel manager Balakrishna hurling abuse on October 13 and threatened of life, she stated in the complaint.
