Udupi: Padubidri SI promoted, transferred to Urwa Mangaluru

Udupi, Oct 15: Padubidri station house officer, Azmat Ali, has been promoted to an inspector and transferred to DCRE unit of Urwa police station, Mangaluru.

Azmat had got practical training in Gokarna before being posted as sub-inspector of Karkala rural police station. After that, he had worked as traffic sub-inspector.

Police sub-inspector of Ajekar police station, E Basappa, has been posted as in-charge of Padubidri station in his place.
