Kundapur, Oct 16: In a tragic accident that took place at Ottinene near Byndoor between a car and a container truck, two persons died on Sunday, October 16.

B B Sara (25) wife of Syed Abubakkar from Kodi in Hangaluru near Kundapur and four month old Fathima are the deceased.

As per details, A Santro car carrying people from Honnavar was coming towards Kundapur. They had gone there to attend a wedding. A Haryana registered container truck hit the car at Ottinene on the highway and mother and daughter from the car died instantly.

Three other passengers from the car have been injured. Two of them including Razia (4) who are serious have been taken to Manipal hospital. Syed Abubakkar has been admitted to a hospital in Kundapur with minor injuries.

The dead bodies of the mother and daughter have been taken to Byndoor government hospital.

Byndoor police have registered a case.

    A tragic accident which is hard to believe. A mother and her young daughter lost their lives and three were injured. May the souls of the mother and daughter rest in eternal peace. I wish a speedy recovery of those injured.

    @Altaf ,Abudhabi,very sad to read about accidents everyday and deaths too.Just it is due to someones carelessness mostly.About dislikes,there are People find fun even in sad occasions,otherwise normal ones dont do it.Heartfelt sympathy to the Family,and poor Little child had no Chance to be in this world for even half a year.May the deceased souls rest in peace.

    Inna lillahi wa Inna ilaihi raajioon......
    This family residing at Tekkatte. The deceased women went to her parental house to Honnawar for her second delivery. Today they were on the way to return Tekkatte with new born baby. Very sad that new born baby never came to her parental house alive. God give strength to this family to overcome this tragedy.
