Mangaluru, Oct 17: Urging the state government to nab the murders of RSS activist Rudresh who was murdered on Sunday, October 16 at Shivajinagar in Bengaluru by unidentified miscreants, the district BJP Yuva Morcha staged a protest in front of DC’s office on Monday, October 17.

Addressing the gathered, the president of BJP district Yuva Morcha, Hareesh Poonja, who compared the state government to a murderer said, “How can the common people live with peace when a youth is murdered in broad day light? This is a murderer government led by Siddaramaiah. This is a government which has been backing the murderers of the activists of Hindu organisations. The chief minister has made his intentions clear when he came to Mangaluru by calling the Congress party workers to oppose the activists of sangh parivar and their activities.”

“Initially when the government came to power, the chief minister said that he would appoint KJ George as the home minister only to protect the minorities. Siddaramaiah must be shameful for this statement because just from minority voters he did not come to power.”

“We request the state government to arrest the murderers at the earliest and give compensation to Rudresh’s family,” he said.

“Where are the self acclaimed thinkers of the country and the state who cried of intolerance after the suicide of Rohith Vemula?” he questioned.

Yuva Morcha district chief secretary Hareesh Moodushedde, state committee member Prithviraj Bangera, district vice president Sandeep Shetty Maravooru, district secretaries Bharath Eashwaramangala, Kishore Babu among others were present.
