Kasargod, Oct 18: Nandagokul (55), son of Krishna Moolya from Perla Bajakoodlu in the district, who was working as headmaster of Kajampady lower primary school near Baidyadka, committed suicide on Monday October 16 afternoon at his home by hanging himself.
Nandagokul had not attended school on Monday on account of ill lhealth. His wife, Sugandhi, who is employed in a bank, attended office as usual. He was alone at home. When his wife called him over the phone at around 11 am, Nandagokul did not answer the call.
Growing suspicious, Sugandhi came home to check. She found her husband hanging at home from a rope. After a complaint was made, Badiyadka police reached the spot, conducted inquest, and registered the case.
