Kasargod, Oct 18: In an incident which occurred at Kavukkal in the district on Monday October 17, rider of a scooter died after his vehicle fell into a roadside ditch after he lost control over the vehicle.
The deceased has been identified as K N Sundar (42), employed at Kerala State Electricity Board's office at Kuttikkol. Sundar was moving to Mallampare from Kuttikkol on his two-wheeler, when he moved his vehicle aside to give way for a pickup truck that was coming from the opposite direction. His vehicle suddenly fell into a ditch, resulting in critical injuries to him.
Sundar, who had serious injuries, was taken to Mangaluru and admitted into the hospital there. However, he could not be saved. A case about the incident was registered at Bedadka police station.
