Kasargod, Oct 18: In an incident which occurred on Sunday October 16 at Kanhangad, the body of a student was found from a temple pond.
The deceased has been identified as Vikas Kini (10), son of Sadashiva Kini from Karat Vayal in Kanhangad. He was a fifth standard student of Sadguru School there.
It is believed that he slipped and fell into the pond after going near it during his visit to the temple in the company of his parents. His mortal remains were handed over to relatives after postmortem was conducted at Pariyaram Medial College Hospital.
