Bengaluru, Oct 19: Massive preparations are underway for the wedding of Brahmini, daughter of a former Karnataka minister and iron ore baron Janardhana Reddy.

The wedding will be held with Rajiv Reddy, the son of a Hyderabad origin businessman, in Bengaluru Palace Grounds on November 16.

Janardhana Reddy and his family known for financial muscle power and royal life style, has prepared an unconventional wedding invitation card, which has gone viral.

The card has a song sung by the Reddy couple on a LED screen .Reddy, who has decided to celebrate the wedding in an unprecedented manner, has invited guests with a song. The song auto-plays on a mini LED screen when the invite is opened. The Reddy couple, their son, daughter and son in law can be seen in the song.

The particular card is filled with dry almonds and cashew nuts and will reach well-wishers and leaders of all districts in the state.

Reddy, 49, once among the most powerful men in Karnataka, spent three years in jail in connection with illegal mining. He was released last year on bail.

He and his older brother G Karunakara Reddy were ministers in the BJP government headed by BS Yeddyurappa till July 2011. Months later, Reddy was arrested by the CBI.

His daughter's wedding is widely expected to be a star-studded event and a grand show of opulence, quite like the engagement ceremony last month.

If the wedding invite is any indication, the powerful politician is spending a fortune on the wedding.

If the card is so rich, then so much is expected from the wedding. The invitation has made the people very anxious about it.

    There is vast desparity of income in India some rich people hardly may be 5% of population are swimming in royalty around 55% middleclass are busy runnign round the clock and balance 50% are so poor they can hardly get even one time meal. Rich getting richer day by day with help of politicians and vice versa these two classed enjoying and fooling common man in name of religion and causing hatred. Around 3000 children in India daily due to malnoruishment isnt this a shame.

    It is okay to be rich but not so much when so many are dying without basic needs worst than african countries govt should ensure atleast to provide basic needs to all Indians.

    There is absolutely no issue Mr Reddy celebrating his daughters Wedding in grand..Everybody in life dreams that...But the point is ..he is brilliant..Indian constitution/systems allowed him to garner wealth...otherwise how is cycle to jet planes..in just 5 years 1995 to 2000.

    Let him spend his Money on is daughters wedding.They think only how to celebrate and make it more unique than the last big wedding of some celebrates.more guests ,naturally only big ones,richest ones,stars,etc.big presents,and naturally biggest and finest dinners.want to Show their richness ,and their ability of functions.And sure no normal persons have to stay outside and their personnel ,workers get any good salary?I doubt.wish you a happy celebration dear Reddy Saab.

    If you ask me gali ambani is a bigger chor than gali reddy. The difference is he was made by indira gandhi and there was no much media coverage in those years. Reddy was from bjp and media coverage was vast.

    Everyone will celebrate their daughter marriage , so is it any problem if reddy spend much money for his daughter marriage? its his money ,his daughter and he will celebrate. No one is perfect ,is it anyone paying tax as per rules ?? no one is paying so why we asking reddy spending too much money on his daughter marriage?

    If one remembers the marriage in the early 70 and late 80 the marriage occasions were a day to remember.Money market was so less but the fun was unlimited.With YE YE CATHRINA ,AMI DOGI SESARA VETHOU KASARA songs tuning at its very best with country liquor making the spirit high for the non stop dancers to dance certainly those golden days are gone forever.Today money market improved but fun ,love and human value diminished.Whats the use

    Once they become minister they think that state property belongs them only
    After becoming minister he sold All state iron ore and trnsfered all money in his account with the help of yediurappa
    Also this George owned thousands of acers property in all the district of the karnataka. and most of forest land is transfered his name . How they making the property once they become minister
    and there are people electing them and respecting them as like they are gods

    there is now for these rich people . they are buying the law with the help of money and muscular power.

    This is unique. It is good that rich people spend money like this bcoz it directly or indirectly benefits many. Singers, dancers, musicians, decorators, dress sellers, designers, caterers, electricians, etc etc many earn money through this type of marriage. Instead of using money for bad politicians and bad purposes it is better to spend money like this. Hope he spends money regularly for poor people.
