Mangaluru: Missing lady found in company of lover, child

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Oct 20: A lady from the city who her parents said had gone missing, was found by the police from a lodge at Bengaluru. Surprisingly, she was in the company of her lover and her child there.

The father of Aishwarya Shetty (21), resident of Bokkapatna here, had filed complaint in Barke police station in the city on Tuesday October 18, saying that she had gone missing. The police, who began investigation and hit her trail based on the location of her cellphone, found her from Bengaluru on Wednesday.

Aishwarya works in a private company at Bengaluru. She stayed in a house as paying guest. Her father is said to be employed in Maharashtra. He usually visits his home here once a month. Normally, Aishwarya's mother and her younger brother stay in their home in the city.

Aishwarya had visited her home three months back. On October 7, she had informed her family over phone that she would be coming here on October 9 to spend Dasara holidays. After waiting for her arrival for several days, her parents filed missing complainat on October 18. The police, to their surprise, found her with her lover and child at Bengaluru.

She reportedly told the police that she had married the man. Another surprise is that her parents had no knowledge of her marriage, pregnancy, and delivery. It is said that she had kept her marriage a secret from her parents. Strangely, her parents failed to notice the changes during her visit here three months back.

if she married him then he is her husband not lover?
    why his name not mentioned?
    its not so strange story.
possible girl married him and bcs of fear of home or caste she didnt disclose to parents.
or the person fooled her and she has no option other than marrying him.
whatever the case parents should keep watch on kids. and kids too think about parents feelings before taking any decision.

Only thing which looks mysterious is how/why her parents could not find any changes when their daughter visited them three months ago? Forget why we should break our head. Mystery will unfolded.

If both are happy and legally married then no issue.
In present new system living together without legal marriage and make children and after few years separation will be problem. now parents must make sure that they are legally married.

If both are happy, then no issue ! In case both are happy, and her husband from other community ( minority), and even if both are leading a very happy life, still this will end up in a great problem. Some organizations will instinct the parents to lodge a kidnapping complaint, and they will be on streets shouting slogans and disrupting the peaceful life

@Mohan Mangalore,Now she is married and has one child without parents knowledge ,noone can help her and parents too cant do anything.why should parents see that she is married?she had let her parents out of any of her life matters. In such matters, better not to give advice or go legally.she should eat what she cooked.only see that any harm to her or child should be avoided.Very strange her movements. No word of her husband?caste, occupation etc.such things always pain parents who brought her up ,educated and looked after.Even her husband of another caste Religion, she should have informed her parents as a Family member.why so much secrets?sad parents had to know it through Police or media.shame to her.would she be happy in life in future?Parents would have surely happy about a Grand child if she told in a good atmosphere.

    Very smart lady!
It's ok she chose a man of her choice, loved him and got married in a secret way. Never the less, they have a child too.
Was that a court marriage? If its in a traditional way, the priest would have insisted on some regularities.
I wish that parents blessings also important on such auspicious time in life.
Is the case closed or further investigation to be done?

The police should apologise for revealing her private life.
At 21, any lady has the right to lead her life as she wants. And if she wanted to keep her marriage a secret, damn well she has the right to do.
Police could have just informed the parents alone.

While I agree with your comments to some extent, the young lady has caused police to waste their time on locating her. As it is the police force is burdened with security and escort cover for our numerous VIPs. We surely do not want them to take time for solving what is a family dispute. The young lady surely has rights to marry who she wants, but with rights come responsibilities and her disappearance without notifying her family was an irresponsible act.

    Mr.Shankar,
We are in India,Not foreign country.First responsibility and respect for parents. We have an obligation to love and respect our parents who have slogged to bring up since childhood. You can't get parents.Once they are no more you can understand their value. So don't blame the police because they have done their duty, and i say they sholud publish with photo, then all will understand she is married.Other wise after sometime she may quit him and marry another?Poor innocent men will end their life.
