Mangaluru, Oct 20: Dead body of a man was found on railway track in Thokkottu on Thursday, October 20.

Shop owned by Sanjeeva Poojary 

Sanjeeva Poojary (66) from Thokkottu is the person deceased. He was a vegetable merchant.

It is suspected that Sanjeeva was crossing the train, without being aware that a train was perilously close to him, resulting in this macabre accident.

Sanjeeva was from Uppala in Kasargod district. He reportedly started to live in a rented accommodation at Ganesh Nagara near Thokkottu over bridge with his family since a year. He is survived by four daughters and a son.

 

A case about this incident was registered in the railway police station in the city.
