Puttur, Oct 21: Relating to the abduction of a boy some time back, policemen from the town station here, arrested another accused. He was produced at the local court on Thursday October 20. The arrested person happens to be Ibrahim Sulaiman from Karjalu on the outskirts of the city.

The policemen had listed five persons as accused in the case and the person now arrested happens to be the second among them to be nabbed. Search is on for three more people named as accused in the case. In this case, an accused, Mustafa from Koornadka, had been arrested in the past.

Naushad, son of B S Hamid from Bannur here had been kidnapped on February 26 this year when he had visited the city. He was picked up by the accused from near Bolwar here.

The boy was released later and returned home safely. Father of the boy had filed a police complaint, on the basis of which the policemen have been continuing with investigations.
