Kasargod, Oct 22: A youth who sent his nude picture to his girlfriend’s friend and invited her to a lodge was arrested by the police on Friday, October 21.

Srijith (28), resident of Mulleria Kadaga, is the youth who was arrested. He was arrested from a lodge near old bus stand here on the basis of complaint by his girlfriend’s friend.

Srijith is an employee in a well-known mobile company. He was in love with an employee of a beauty parlour for the last five years. He had obtained the mobile number of the girl through his girlfriend and sent his nude picture to her through WhatsApp inviting her to a lodge in Kasargod. The girl submitted a complaint about it to Kasargod town police station.

As per the directions of the police, the girl contacted the youth and agreed to come to the lodge. He believed the girl and gave the room number of the lodge to the girl.

The police swung into action and arrested the youth within a few minutes on the basis of information conveyed by the girl.
