Udupi: Fouzia Younus Bags 'National Youth Award'

Udupi, Jan 2: Noted social activist and up and coming poet Fouzia Younus bagged the prestigious 'National Youth Award' given by government of India. 

Fouzia who hails from Tiruvanatapuram is the youngest recipient of this award.  The said award consists of citation and cash award of Rs 20,000. The award will be presented at a glittering function to be held at Chennai on Saturday January 12.

The award is recognition of Fouzia's contribution to the field of literature, social and social work.  At present she is pursuing her MBBS degree from Kasturba Medical College at Manipal near here.
