Mangaluru: ATM agency employees swindle Rs 88 lac - several questioned

Mangaluru, Oct 23: Employees of an agency hired to replenish cash of ATMs of various banks reportedly have defrauded their employer to the tune of Rs 88 lac. A complaint in this regard stands filed in Kadri police station here by the agency concerned.

The agency which had taken responsibility of managing cash-in-transit was duped by several of its employees since a month, it is said. On the basis of complaint filed by the concern on October 20, inspector of the station, Maruti Naik, began investigation. He has questioned several persons including employees of the agency.

It is said that the police have got some definite leads in the case and some people are likely to be arrested soon.

    Why should a agency fill up the ATM .?Self Banks can do their ATMS .Nowadays noone is honest enough.That amount of Money can make anyone to get away with.Or they should employ People with good records,not someone who Comes to go with.
