Udupi: Four end lives in different incidents

Udupi, Oct 23: Geetha (56), wife of Sarvotham from Kunjigudde Ambalpady from Mathadabettu in Moodanidambur village here jumped into the well and ended her life. Resident of Mahamayi Layout at Kunjigudde, Geetha, was apparently worried over some problems.

On the basis of complaint filed by the brother-in-law of the deceased, Krishnappa Jathanna, a case was registered in the town police station here.

Govind Naik (48), resident of Karamballi in Shivalli village, hanged himself at his home on Saturday October 22. He hanged himself from a tree in the thicket owned by a local named Nagesh Naik, having been fed up with certain issues. A case in this connection was registered in Manipal station based on complaint filed by the brother of the deceased, Devendra Naik.

Subrahmanya Adiga (61) residing near Vishnumurthy temple in Beejady village in Kundapur taluk hanged himself from a cashew tree standing by the side of Heggalamadu road near his home for unknown reasons.

Kadtala Ramesh Nayak (52) committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in the farm adjacent to his house on Saturday. A case was filed in Hebri police station on the basis of report filed by his father, Subraya Nayak.
