Los Angeles, Oct 23 (IANS): Members of the Kardashian family are thrilled with rapper Kanye West's birthday throwback video to his wife and reality TV star Kim Kardashian as it features her late father.

The emotional throwback footage, which features late Robert Kardashian, was shared by West on Twitter on Kim's 36th birthday on Friday, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

Kim's sister Khloe Kardashian took to the micro-blogging site to praise Kanye.

"Best husband award! This is a gift for all of us! Thank you! I almost forgot his voice until today," she tweeted.

Kim's brother Rob Kardashian shared the video and wrote: "This is why I love you. Man my dad was the best! Loved watching this."

Kim's father Robert passed away in 2003 after a battle with cancer.

Kim's mother Kris Jenner also took to social media to post a image collage of herself and her daughter.

"Happy Birthday to my precious Kimberly! Kim Kardashian I love and adore you... you have brought so much joy into all of our lives and you are the most wonderful daughter, wife, sister, friend and mom.

"I thank God every day he blessed me with you and I cherish every single moment and memory. My heart is full of gratitude and I love you more than you will ever imagine or know," she wrote alongside the image.
