Kundapur, Oct 24: Film shooting for new art film, based on reservation under the constitution which has given room for extensive difference of opinion was set in motion here.

The film is being produced under the banner of Gulvadi talkies under the leadership of amateur film actor and young author Yakub Khader Gulvadi. Dr Vishwamithra Halekote who is a professional doctor in America lit the traditional lamp. WKCC president K P Manjunath Sagar switched the camera on.

Film producer Yakub Khader said that Nikhil Manju who has made a name as the director of art films inspired him to produce this new film. Dr Vishwamithra Halekote, former president of Akka conference commended the production of several art films in the coastal region and hoped that the attempt of Yakub Khader on the topic of 'Reservation'touches the people.

Young entrepreneurs Udayakumar Shetty and Vinayakumar Shetty, artistes Girish Baindoor, psychiatrist Dr Prakash Tholar, Dr Sathish Poojary, Kannada Vedike president Subrahmanya Shetty, Mohammed Ali, B Shivananda, Srinivasa and others were present.
