Mangaluru, Oct 25: Thieves entered a house belonging to Manoj Karanth in Uchila Karanthabailu within Ullal police station limits on Monday night October 24 after breaking the outside door and decamped with Rs 5,000 cash, two gold rings and five watches kept in the cupboard. The value of the stolen items is about Rs 20 thousand.
Manoj Karanth's mother was alone in the house.

The group had unsuccessfully tried to enter the house of Laxminarayan Karanth, relative of Manoj Karanth in the neighbourhood. However they could not break the doors as there were two doors.

Ullal station police have registered a case. The dog squad visited the place and collected details.
