Udupi: Astro Mohan wins SPAAP national photo contest

Udupi, Oct 25: Astro Mohan, Sr News Photographer of Udayavani, won the overall award - 'Jnanapith Awardee Sri Ravuri Bharadwaj Award' in the national-level photography contest, organised by State Photojournalists Association of Andhra Pradesh (SPAAP), recently.

His picture 'Dahi Handi' depicting Udupi Sri Krishna Janmashtami celebration won the award.


The award presentation and an exhibition of the photographs of the contest will be held at Vijayawada Cultural Centre, Mahalaxmi Towers, Vijayawada, Andra Pradesh on the morning of Tuesday, November 1.
