Puttur: Partha Varanashi bags gold at National Masters Championship

Puttur, Oct 25: Former national swimmer and currently the coach of Puttur Aquatic Club and Mangalore Aquatic Club, Partha Varanashi, bagged five gold medals at the 13th National Masters Aquatic Championship conducted by the Swimming Federation of India at Secunderabad on Saturday, October 22.

He won three individual gold  medals in 50 metres backstroke, 50 metres butterfly, 50 metres freestyle, two gold medals in 4x50 metres freestyle relay and 4x50 metres medley relay.


Partha is the lease owner of Balawana Swimming Pool, Puttur, where he trains a team of 50 competitive swimmers who perform splendidly well at the National and International level.
