Bengaluru, Oct 26: “Why are, JD (S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda and JD (S) state president H D Kumaraswamy, delaying our expulsion from the party if the party does not need us?, ” asked JD(S) rebel MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan.
Speaking to reporters in Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday October 25, Zameer said that he has not submitted a petition to Kumaraswamy to retain him in the party. “We are in the party till the last minute lacs of activists trust us. But JD(S) is still under the control of Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy.” Zameer added.
“We have already been suspended. If the party does not need us, why are they taking so long to expel us? I do not have to make my living depending on politics the way of Kumaraswamy is dependent on politics. We have cast our vote in favour of Congress candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections after informing Kumaraswamy,” Zameer said.
