Kundapur, Oct 27: Nearly 35 families which have been suffering due to lack of approach road in Thombatthu, Hengavalli grama panchayat limits here, for the last three decades, now seem to have a ray of hope, with the arrival of survey officials.

People of various religions and castes live here. These people walk through the forest in the absence of a road. There are seven elderly people and four pregnant women among them. More than twenty-five school girls had to inevitably give up their education for security reasons.
Daijiworld had published a pictorial report about it. The officials have now responded positively to it. Taluk land inspector M C Poojary conducted an inspection on Tuesday, October 25, on orders from Kundapur tahsildar Borker, and assured the provision of a road for the convenience of villagers.
