Hubballi: Kumaraswamy, relatives grabbed 110 acres land worth Rs 220 crore- Hiremath

Hubballi, Oct 31: Social activist and member of Samaja Parivarthana Samudaya, S R Hiremath has said that former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy and his relative, Maddur MLA D C Thammanna and other relatives have illegally acquired 110 acres of land worth Rs 200 crores in Ramanagara district near Bidadi here.

Hiremath also added that the involvement of former PM H D Deve Gowda cannot be ruled out in it.

Hiremath released some documents relating to the alleged wrong doing. He said that Ramanagara sub divisional officer B H Siddappa has submitted a report to the government in this connection in 2014.

“Revenue department chief secretary has written to the regional commissioner to seize the acquired land. Ramanagara tahasildar and assistant commissioner had complained about the case to Lokayuktha. However no action has been taken in this regard.” Hiremath said.
