Kuwait: Bunts Sangha Elects New Office-bearers

BSK marked 7th successful year in Kuwait, and continued to spreading the spirit of togetherness within the community.

Buntara Sangha organized their 7th AGM on Jan 4, 2008 at Indian Public School Auditorium. The program started with the prayer of Master Prithvi Vivek Shetty followed by the lighting the traditional lamp by the President Divin Kumar Menda Bajpe with Vice President Karunakar Shetty Ajekala, Co-ordinators: Prakash K.Shetty Bijantla and Vivek Shetty Belman, and General Secretary Sanmathi D. Menda Bajpe along with all other office-bearers.


The General Secretary and Treasurer presented their reports for the year 2007. The management committee for the year 2008 consists of:

President Divin Kumar Menda Bajpe (re-elected),
Vice President Karunakar Shetty Ajekala (re-elected),
General Secretary Mahesh Bhandary MundraBettu Guthu,
Joint Secretary Supreetha vivek Shetty Belman,
Treasurer Chetana Adappa,
Welfare Secretary BalaKrishna Shetty Makyaru,
Cultural Secretary MadhwaRaj Rai Adyar,
Sports Secretary Manoj Shetty Shirva,
and PRO Suraj Shetty Yelthra Guthu.

In Co-ordinator’s speech Vivek Belman welcomed the new committee and thanked the old-committee

After the AGM, The members of the Sangha performed special ‘Nritya bhajan’ and participated in Bhajan. The traditional ‘paanaka’ and ‘prasadam’ were distributed to the devotees.

After the delicious lunch (Catered by Queens Restaurent-Hawalli), the programs like Snake & Ladder (for Adults & kids), open quiz for all age groups, passing the ball & housi-housi game entertained all the crowd with joy. The program ended by the vote of thanks by the Secretary, Sound-system provided by Illuminations.
