Mangaluru: RSS holds Vijayadashami route march in city

Mangaluru, Nov 6: The members of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated Vijayadashami with a rally on the morning of Sunday, November 6 in city.

Vijayadashami ‘Path-Sanchalan' was flagged off from Nehru Maidan this time and proceeded further through Nellikai Road, Mukhyaprana Temple, Car Street, Sharavu Temple, Ganapathi High School, Clock Tower and culminated at Nehru Maidan again.

As many as 1,291 RSS members and supporters participated in the route march with co- convenor of local Pranthya P Vamana Shenoy, Mangaluru Mahanagara Sangha Sanchalak Dr Satish Rao and Saha Sangha Sanchalak Sunil Acharya.

Capt Ganesh Karnik and Monappa Bhandary also took part in the route march.

This is the first time RSS held a route march in city after the introduction of new RSS uniform.

    I have direct question to RSS.Why the organisation need military style weapons training for cause of humanity?

    These days Ramakrishna Mission's is doing the outstanding work.Instead of showing the strength, why don't they take 'Jaddu' and clean the public places?

    I was an active RSS worker during school and college days. I was inspired by RSS's idea of bringing equality among Hindus, its idea of vasudaiva kutumbakam, it's idea of patriotism etc.

    Later my personal interest of making money overtook the ideas of patriotism and social service, still the values imbibed from RSS guides me to be good human being, even today.

    Why don't Hindus, Muslims, Dalits, Christians, Sikhs combine take 2,500 volunteers with longer sized lathi march from Pumpwell to the DC Office. Let them spread this all over India and start Khaas Brigades laathi training to protect from Sakha Brigades. Let them carry Indian National Flag and the Constitution of India book as their guiding force. This is how the Indian love brigades can counter act against the hate brigade. Jai Hind.

    with stick only you can do cow matha protection, for protection of Bharath Matha you should be on border, and these goons killed a patriotic father who sent his son in Indian Airforce for protection of Bharath Matha just he had mutton in his fridge.
