Ballari: Former DySP Anupama Shenoy plans to sue her tormentors

Daijiworld Media Network - Ballari (SP)

Ballari, Nov 7: "I am planning to approach the court against the people who obstructed me from discharging my duties sincerely and heaped injustice on me, within the next 15 days. I also am thinking of approaching Karnataka Administrative Tribunal," stated former deputy superintendent of police (DySP) of Kudligi in the district, Anupama Shenoy.

During her visit to Hoovinahadagali village in the district to attend a private programme on Sunday November 6, Anupama told the media persons that she will fight till justice is done. She said that she will lay bare all the incidents which had happened during her service before the court in January next.

"If opposition parties or voters from the constituency extend an invitation to me, I will take up campaign against former minister and MLA, P T Parameshwar Naik. When he was district-in-charge minister, he had done injustice to his voters and worked in favour of the liquor lobby. But a few persons then ensured that the truth did not come out. I will bring all these details before the voters." she announced.

Anupama felt genuine need for a thorough change in legislature and executive departments of the government. She recollected that the state government had transferred her within 24 hours because of fight between her and minister Naik, which was a huge personal insult. She confessed that she has not yet been able to get rid of the feeling of this insult till now.

Shenoy said she was keen to serve in police department and had accordingly written to the chief minister seeking to rejoin the department. She said she is yet to get a reply for her request from the government.

Reacting to this statement, Parameshwar Naik felt that Anupama should have raised the topic of obstruction from discharging duty when it happened. He recalled that Anupama had termed him as a good-mannered individual who was not at fault. "She is trying to mislead the people by issuing different statements on different occasions. She should maintain her balance of mind before speaking out," he felt.

In the beginning I supported her. Later I cam to know that she is backed by RSS (meeting Kalladka Bhat's residence is proved). The congress people came to know her real color.
No she has to wait till BJP comes to power in Karnataka (no hope) may be Kalladka Bhat will give her MLA ticket.
Till then she will be an unemployed.

Unfortunately she lost it all by surrendering to emotion and resignation. It is a self inflected long term pain in return to short term emotion. She gave up the mighty weapon to fight back and now playing in the hands of politics. Most DK people would have supported if she had consistency and power to fight back.

I appreciate the courage of Former DySP Anupama Shenoy.
Unlike former DySp MKG, who called a press meeting to commit suicide, Anupama taking her tormentors head on!
Her efforts will yield positive results or no is a different matter, but her tormentors are on toes.
There will be some adverse impact, to her tormentors life.
She is not taking the injustice meted out to her lying down.
Through her efforts, she might ward off undue interference and make her successors life better.

It is not clear whether she want her job back or she want to punish the ill doers. At a time she should try one project. Both things cannot be done at one time. Now what she need is public support more than anything.

    Madam Anupama,
You were known for sincere and bold style of working, when you were in police dept. You should have fought Courageously with the people (higher officials and politicians) who were going against your decisions & harassing you. You shouldn't have listen to niddeYurappa and other Sanghees and resigned from duty. Now, they are enjoying seeing you struggling!!!

Two important factors come to my mind. The young lady should have retained her position despite any problems and then at the same time fought for her cause. By resigning from her job she has made it difficult for herself to put forward her views.

The other important factor is that bureaucrats should not try to run any department. Leave it to the department to decide transfers, promotions or demotions.

Anupama, I would suggest you join any party other than the 3 major one's in Karnataka. I suppose AAP would be the best option. But it would take time to build the party and you might get some position after 20 years. It was a easy win for AAP in a city state like Delhi as majority of the voters are educated. You have a bright chance to win Bangalore city as some percentage of people living there are from different parts of the country.

There is no provision that she can get her job back.It is utterly foolishness to resign.
You lose all your powers once you resign and do not take back within a stipulated time frame.
Now only solution is join the CPI and fight election.
Because BJP will be bossy on you..they cannot afford another shobakka...Congress you consider as step mother...so only CPI.
