Beltangady: Recovery of cow slaughter waste in temple premises - case registered

Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady. Nov 7: Pieces of beef, skull, legs of cow and bones were found to have been thrown near Bangadi Lord Veerabhadra temple in Indabettu village and on road leading to Pichakaru Yermal in the taluk on Sunday November 6 morning. The people from the locality said that unscrupulous elements, who are aware that the area houses a large number of Hindu and Muslim families, are responsible for this development aimed at disrupting harmony they enjoy.

In a complaint filed in the police station in the town, the villagers noted that some miscreants are purposefully indulging in acts of sacrilege with the specific purpose of inciting people and giving rise to communal tension. Therefore, they have asked the police to see that such acts do not recur, and those behind these acts are firmly dealt with.

It is felt that the above items were thrown during Saturday night. Beef was also found deposited near a shop standing adjacent to the temple owned by Naveen. A large number of people had gathered at the temple after coming to know of this incident. A police team led by local police sub-inspector, Ravi, went to the spot, inspected the area, and took steps to see that unsavoury incidents did not occur.

The atmosphere was not vitiated as the police took timely action to avert any backlash. Some locals also reported this incident to district superintendents of police. On the basis of a complaint filed by people, a case was registered in the police station here and an investigation was launched.

Just to foment enmity for political gains.

I would request Muslim brothers to voluntarily go and clean in the presence of temple priest, mass media and police to discourage the trouble makers.

In the same Hindu and Christian brothers resiprocate to maintain unity.

Do not react to this incident. Do not blame. That's exactly what the miscreants want - to create communal problem's. Clear away the waste and move in life. Such an incident will not recur if people don't react to it.

Before blaming other religion we should think WHO ARE THE BENEFICIARIES OF SUCH ACTS? 75% of the voters in Dakshina Kannada are Hindu's and 25% is divided between Christians and Muslims. Guys Just think which political party is benefited...

In all their dirty and cheap mentality, the poor cow is being dragged along.

Its been given so much dirty publicity that now people do not react whether its illegal transportation or discarding of cow slaughter waste. The topic is not sensitive any more.

How much lower can they stoop ?

Look, gentleman, Varaha is considered an animal, not mother/brother/father ! Its available in abundance, unlike a few keep it and feign motherly loss upon getting them stolen.

Therefore, a wrong choice to be sensational. Smite your brain for a better option !

It does need more than common sense to ascertain who could be the trouble makers. I hope police will succeed in nabbing them and will clear the doubts.

    How come this sudden love.
You were always blaming each & every issue to Modi, BJP for unrelated matters. How come this sudden development about rich & oldest civilization.
To highlight, these Kai Masters & their Sevakas were involved only in these type of activities after Independence instead of working on developments.
They are living on issue like Godse, Rservation, castesim, Minority, Godhra, Sikh riot, Ayodhya, etc.
