Doha, Nov 8: Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association (KMCA), Qatar is all set to host 61st Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations at the Al-Maha Academy, Ain Khaled, near here on Friday November 11. The celebrations will begin at 4.45 pm.

The guest of honour for the event will be Dinesh Amin Mattu, media advisor to the Chief Minister of Karnataka while Mohiuddin Bava, MLA, Mangalore North constituency, will be the chief guest of the evening. 

Renowned artists from Karnataka such as magician, illusionist, escapologist and stunt performer Prahlad Acharya from Udupi, renowned Kannada Gazal singer Ramachandra Hadapad, young illusionist Mohammed Idris, prominent Kannada shayer and writer Asadullah Beig  and well-known mimicry artist Mysore Anand will perform on the occasion.

Pallonji Qatar, Jagara Contracting, Alutec, New Design Contracting, ALM, Qatar Design Consortium (QDC) and Al-Salam Technical Services (STS Group) are the main sponsors of the event.

President of KMCA Niyaz Ahmed has appealed to all the Kannadigas in Qatar to come and witness the spectacular programme, and extend their wholehearted support for the success of the event.
