Kasargod: Travel agency raided- fake certificates, records found

Kasargod, Nov 9: Kumble and Manjeshwar police raided a travel agency and unearthed several fake records from there on Tuesday, November 8.

 

The raid was conducted in Sahal consultancy in Uppala. Police seized passport, 30 fake seals, pen drives, three computers, hard disks, bank pass books, letter heads of several schools and colleges, experience certificates, slips from several companies, records for employment in ships, letter heads of government offices, duplicate seals of union and Kerala governments, etc.

As several cases of obtaining passport, driving license, sand passes and other cases had come to light, district superintendent of police Thomson Jose had ordered for the operation where the illegal business has been unearthed.

Police are investigating the records seized by them and more cases are likely to come to light.

The owner of the business has fled. The information has been obtained from the staff.

A case of fake records had come to light a month ago in Akshaya Center. Four people were arrested in that case.
