Qatar National Day 2016 associated activities organizing committee has immensely supportd the club.

Major Nasser Abdullah Al Suwaidi vice president of Qatar National Day celebrations security committee has helped greatly by providing logistic support to the event.

School coordinator – Susmita Pattnaik said, "It is a pride and privilege on my part to be part of this mega event. As the school coordinator I get to interact with so many people that this is an experience by itself. As the coordinator I have approached around 43 schools. Most of them are regular participants; apart from them we have included some new schools to spread awareness to. The noble motive behind this event is to provide budding orators a big platform to showcase their talent. So far there has been just one category. The results have been excellent. This year we have decided to take a bigger leap and have included Humorous category too, so that some more students will be able to participate. We are expecting a minimum of fifty contestants in both categories representing fifteen schools and ten Gavel Clubs. Since this event is part of Qatar national day celebration, the topics chosen for the Inspirational category are based on Qatar in association with Qatar National Day 2016 Associated Activities organizing committee which is really awesome. We look forward to have a memorable event and look forward to everybody’s support."

Independent school’s coordinator – Abdulla Hamdan stated, "This is a new category which has been introduced for students from Independent Schools. We have approached more than 80 schools and expect participation from at least 40 schools. We are confident that this competition will become popular and in the coming years may have to
be conducted separately."

Major Nasser Abdullah Al Suwaidi vice president of Qatar National Day celebrations security committee stated, "We are pleased that the multi-national community has organized these speech competitions for adults and student residents of Qatar. We strongly support this initiative.

We are pleased to give the following topics for the Competitions.

Adults –
• Qatar the safest Country
• Qatar’s role in humanitarian relief

Students –
• Qatar’s educational progress
• Sheikh Jassim bin Muhammed Al Thani, founder of Qatar, a visionary leader

We are confident that this will become an annual feature at the National Day celebrations. Our Gold Sponsor is Doha Bank, the leading bank in Qatar. Doha Bank’s long term commitment stems from the vision of developing a productive platform for communications leadership and public speaking among the youth and professionals. We are grateful to CEO Dr Seetharaman who has been a constant source of support and inspiration.

Krishnan C K acting head of Wholesale Banking, Doha Bank, stated, "Doha Bank continues to be committed to its corporate social responsibilities.
