Mangaluru, Nov 12: Two youngsters were stabbed by unknown miscreants on the night of Saturday, November 12 at Manjanady Kattemar near Ullal.
Sameer (20) and Nawaz (26) are the persons injured. Both of them were rushed to a private hospital where they have been admitted.
As per details, two miscreants came in a bike and asked some road direction with Sameer and stabbed him when he was about to answer them. They also went to Nawaz nearby and stabbed him after asking for direction. Then the miscreants fled from the scene. It is said that there was a gap of 20 minutes between these incidents. But the victims were stabbed on their waists.
Local MLA and minister U T Khader visited the hospital later and met the victims.
Two days before Rammohan, an RSS activist, was assaulted with machete by three unidentified assaulters.
There has been heavy security in Ullal area for the past two days. Present incident has raised security concerns among people.
Ullal police are investigating.
