Mangaluru: Hit by bus, injured pedestrian succumbs at hospital

Mangaluru, Nov 13: A pedestrian, Janardhan, who was injured after having been hit by a private bus which approached him at great speed on national highway 66 at Mulky on Friday November 11, lost his life on Saturday November 12 morning.

A bus that was moving towards Udupi from the city had hit  the pedestrian, who was crossing the road. Janardhan was rushed to private hospital with severe injuries. Later, he was shifted to Wenlock Hospital here.

Although the doctors tried their best save him, Janardhan succumbed to injuries on Saturday. A case about this accident stands registered in the city (north) traffic police station, in which driver of the bus, Srikant, has been named.
