Rightly said, Francis. Instead of pointing fingers at others (we always feel that I/We am/are better than the other person/group), if people of peace & brotherhood come together to remove misunderstandings/create goodwill, definitely a small beginning will have been made.

Our neighbourhood/city/district//country would definitely be a better place for all of us to live in.

“Stop pointing fingers and placing blame on others. Your life can only change to the degree that you accept responsibility for it.” “There is an old and very wise Native American saying: Every time you point a finger in scorn—there are three remaining fingers pointing right back at you.”
